Handle returned goods with different valuation on SAP ByD

Hi Experts,

What are the best practices to handle returned goods with different valuation on Business ByDesign with standard functionalities?

Let's assume we would like to track returned materials basing on different grades:

1. new;
2. repair needed;
3. beyond repair.

So each of the 3 materials should have a different valuation (cost).

We already thought about maintaining virtual warehouses, however, this would bring a high level of complexity, especially if the company is having new business residences in the future, for which additional virtual warehouses shall be created. Complexity will also arise due to the fact that, for each and every material, a high number of business residences - and related valuation - should be maintained.

Not sure whether it is working, but we also have valuation at product specification level. Maybe you can try.

What if the company is working with sales kits? From my experience, product specifications are not very well supported in this case.
