SCP Destination 401 error

Hello to everyone,

Need help with SCP destinations and external RESTful api connection.

I created a destination for my external service:

#Password=<< Existing password/certificate removed on export >>
#
#Mon Jul 01 12:44:52 UTC 2019
Description=CLAB_API 2.58
Type=HTTP
Authentication=BasicAuthentication
WebIDEUsage=odata_gen
Name=CLAB_API
WebIDEEnabled=true
URL=http\://clab-dev.callidusondemand.com/
ProxyType=Internet
User=*********
WebIDESystem=CLAB_API

When i checked my connection, the answer was "Connection to "CLAB_API" established. Response returned: "302: Found".

When i try to create a new fiori app in WebIDE SCP and connect my oData to it, i get the message "401 error". As you can see below:

Its strange because in my destination already exist authorization(Basic Authentication) with my main account.

But in Postman the same link and credentials work fine.

Maybe someone knows how to solve this issue?

P.s. Username and Password were checked few times, so they are correct :)

Thanks you & Br,

Dmitry

    Do you have a link to the API Documentation? Is it really an OData Service?

    • It seems to me that the service doesn't support basic authentication which you've configured in the destination. To not expose your credentials you would need do deploy some proxy middleware that can contain the credentials and authenticate the user of your HTML5 app using the SCP authentication.

    Hi Dimitry,

    Can you try to create the data source again in webIDE?
