SAP R/3 connect to SAP Business One Item master data

Hi all!

I have a coustomer, who use SAP Business One. Her business partner would like if he her SAP R/3 connect my coustumer SAP Business One Item master data.

The Business partner her developer said that the connect establish by the help of OCI catalog. But, I read a SAP forum post wherein they writed, that SAP Business One not support OCI connect and instead the Integration for SAP NetWeaver need use.

It is realy true or it maybe possible use OCI used? There is something guide to SAP R/3 connect to SAP Business One?

Hi Balazs,

SAP Business One is a completely different system than R/3. What I mean is, it was not originally developed by SAP. That means that normal ways to connect other SAP software (like OCI) do not readily apply.

Please have a look at the SAP Business One Integration Framework (usually referred to as B1if). This is a software that is meant for integration scenarios with SAP Business One.
