TECO Multiple Times in SMP WM 6.3

When we completes/TECOs the work order on the iPad and syncs, it is going into SAP and Charging the time; however, it’s not TECOing the work order in SAP. If we go back to the work order on the iPad and re-TECO, it works. In other words, they have to Complete twice. some times we have to TECO it 3-4 times.

    Dear user,

    The trick with updating the status to the backend (SAP) is to make sure that you do not have any time differences or time discrepancies between your iPAD devices and the SAP backend. Also you need to make sure that all the status changes is from the mobile device instead of modifying the backend (SAP ERP) while the mobile users are in the field updating the status. If there is a race condition on backend versus the mobile devices there may be some issues that could influence what you are seeing.

    1) Double check that you do not have time zone issue first: (This document concentrates on setting up your Agentry.ini configuration file to match the time zone settings in your mobile device to be setup correctly in the server).

    2) Did anybody in the front office or backoffice modified the status of the Workorder that may have influenced the In-progress or completion state of the one on the mobile device. If I have to guess this may be your culprit.

    3) Depending on your version of the Agentry client and device model (Ex: Toughbook or WPF), there could be a chance that that the actual object you are selecting did not get selected during TECO. You need to be at least at SMP 3.0 SDK SP12 PL05 to not have this type of issue.

    Or it could be something else.

    That is what I could think of right now.
