Why few product status is fault and assigned to recall storage bin during inbound delivery in EWM

Hello

We have received material through STO, created inbound delivery and goods receipted in EWM system. The few product status displays faulty or RCAL and are assigned to recall storage bin. we inward the materials through RF scanner.

Please answer for the following

1. How is products assigned to storage bins in EWM

2. Why the change in status of few products in EWM - (the same error reflects in ERP for serial numbers)

3. How to come over this and root cause.

My understanding is Material and Serial Number is associated to Unique Equipment.Example:Material Handling Equipment that is forklift with number, AGV with number,...etc

I guess your case might be vehicle or Forklift...and also it might be inventory managed...Not Sure. These Serial Numbers seems master data for your scenario

I assume if you fix the errors of Equipment Master, then it would fix Material/ Serial Number issues in ERP/EWM, It might be vice versa also.

1. Could you please mention the path for fixed bin strategy

2. Screen copies of serial numbers in ERP and EWM

A. Faulty Status in ERP

B. Recall Status in EWM for the same serial number.

we have come across above mentioned error only for few serial numbers and products.

Could you please provide more details with Screen Shots so that Someone can answer your questions.

I assume:

1. How is products assigned to storage bins in EWM"- > Fixed Bin Strategy

2. Why the change in status of few products in EWM - (the same error reflects in ERP for serial numbers) -> Serial Numbers created during GR ? Stock info sending immediately to ERP when you do GR in EWM before Putaway in Final Bin? Serial Numbers are inventory Managed ?
