DXC - IMDSO Activation failed - Support for in memory optimized DSOs has been removed

0 Kudos

Hi All,

I am connecting ECC 604 with BW4HANA 2.0 using DXC.

IMDSO tables were created successfully under DXC schema when activating DataSource in ECC embedded BW. Data were loaded into Inbound table (/BIC/Axxxxx40) without issue. However, it failed during activation from inbound table to active table (/BIC/Axxxxx00), and raise below error message.

I also attached snapshots of all IMDSO tables.

Error message

"transaction rolled back by an internal error: failed to activate dso: [41015] Support for in memory optimized DSOs has been removed. Do not use in memory optimized DSOs! at ptime/query/plan_executor/trex_wrapper/trex_wrapper_body/trex_dso.cc:79"

Would you please suggest how to solve this problem?

Request log table (/BIC/AxxxxxAO)

Record mode handling table (/BIC/Axxxxx70)

You may check that feature IMO of your HANA version was Deprecated or Decommissioned, or not.

According to note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2812402 there is a workaround available for HANA 2.0 revisions 42 to 49. From revision 50 onwards you have to use different methods like SDI.

Hi Kittipong and Apisit,

I know am not really answering your question but is there any reason why not to use ODP-SAP as source system for the ECC 604 source system?

What is the PI_BASIS of the ECC system you are using? Check following SAP Notes for supported SAP BASIS releaes

- SAP Note 1521883 (ODP Replication API 1.0 ) for PI_BASIS < 730

- SAP Note 1931427 (ODP Replication API 2.0 ) for PI_BASIS >= 730

Best regards,

Andreas
