Automatic Bin Origin Definition in WM

we are in an AFS environment with WM implemented. there are 2 storage types for the warehouse number. inside each storage type we have 'chaotic bin' asignment. meaning that material do not have fixed bin.

question is: is there any way how to asign the bin origin when generating the TO for delivery

you know, when you want to pick and stage in the temporal GI -storage area. but how to define the bin where to pick from??

i know how to set the storage type search but have problems in having the system find the origin bin .

Hi,

The bin determination for picking is done through picking strategy define in the storage type configuration (after the storage type has been determined via storage type search). Which one are you using ?

You can analyze the bin determination at the TO creation when you create it in foreground(i.e you can use transaction LT03 => if I remember correctly : environment => storage bin search log) then you can understand what is wrong.
