How to configure GWM correctly for NetWeaver Portal

For the franchise of a group, we access the products database of the group via NetWeaver Portal. However, we have to fetch each product price individually - and then type this up in our own product database - very tedious job!. We are trying to use GWM to fetch this NetWeaver data and put into Excel on a bulk basis to allow for streamlined product updates. However, to configure the Excel Add-In we don't seem to know how to get the host url, client details etc. as we only have the Portal URL.

How should we proceed? We reckon we need to go to the head group IT department and ask them for these details, but we're wondering if we can find this ourselves.
