Cost not Showing against cost center

Hi Gurus,

I have a query like as below.

Business wants to confirm an operation in plant2 to show the less cost in plant1 .

For that I created same workcentre in plant2 and changed to plant2 in operation overview inside production order .

Operation confirmed and quantity posted successfully which I am able to see in the COOIS report .

Also I am not able to see the particular operation with activities in the cost analysis production order which is correct .

But I am not able to see separately the cost against the cost center ( which assigned to plant2 work center)

Could you please help how can I see the cost against the cost centre(whcih assigned with workcentre of plant2)

Regards

Arabinda

    Hello Arabinda

Activity Cost calculated based on the activity type defined in the work center, so Kindly check and confirm the Cost Analysis Report in the Production Order whether the particular operation's activities were confirmed by the newly created work center (plant 2).

By changing the layout of the Cost Analysis Report, you can find out by which cost center and by which activity type confirmed as like below screenshot (in Confirmation Tab).

If you are planning to use the two work centers (plant 1 and plant 2) permanently, then please create another routing with new work center (plant 2).

    Then create two Production Versions

    PV01 = BOM + Routing 1 (Plant 1 work center)

    PV02 = BOM + Routing 2 (Plant 2 work center)

In Customization OPL8 (Order type dependent parameter), you can select Production Version Selection as a manual selection.

While creating the Production Order, System populates production version selection option, then you can select the required Production Version and proceed further.

Kindly let me know if you have any further queries

    Thanks & Regards,

    Ramkumar RV

    Hello Ramkumar

Thanks a lot for your comments .

But in my case I want to confirm only last operation in plant2 out of 10 operations .

in that case just I used the work centre of plant2 in routing and samething in production order for last operation

After that I confirmed the order .Activity quantity also confirmed successfully. that I am able to find in COOIS report but when I checked the cost for the last operation I am not able to find in the KSB1 report also against the cost center with production order .

so anything i am missing and that is the reason cost not able to see .

Both plant1 and plant2 belongs to same company code .

I have checked there is no error in COFC transaction.

    Could you please suggest

    Regards

    Hello Arabinda

Can you please confirm while using Plant 1 Work Center in the last operation, whether the cost details have been updated correctly or not.

If updated correctly, then kindly check below points for plant 2 work center

    1. Please confirm whether the last operation has been confirmed by plant 2 work center i.e. During confirmation, you can able to see the work center details in CO11N Transaction Code.

    2. Please check take below details from costing tab of the plant 2 work center

Work Center Validity, Cost Center, Activity Types e.g. setup, machine & labor, Formula

Activity Type Master can be checked in the KL03 Transaction Code

    3. In KP26 Transaction Code, Kindly check whether the activity prices have been correctly updated against the Acitity types of the plant 2 work center.

Then check these details Version, From & To period, Cost Center details.

Kindly let me know if you have any further queries on this.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Ramkumar RV
