Viewing latest Instance/Other Instances by others gives me 18456 error

After testing a lot, I have narrowed down my issue to this:

Output format:Crystal RPT format

In the CMC if I schedule a report, I can view Latest Instance. I can view any other instance as well.

In the BI Launchpad I can view only mine (as an end-user), rest all give me the 18456 error. Is this issue normal? Shouldn't I be able to scroll up/down the instances and view any report -as long as the connection details remain the same? (System is SAP BOBJ 4.2 sp4)

We have a workaround - if output format is pdf- there are no issues.
