Delete auxiliary packing material in work center

In the transaction /SCWM/PACK, it is possible to add auxiliary packing materials as line items in the Contents Tab in the Detail Area of the work center. However, once this is saved, there is no option to delete the material assigned to the HU.
On trying to delete it using the work center 'Delete' functionality, the error /SCWM/UI_PACKING104 “The delete function in the work center tree is only effective for handling units and main kit components. You have selected other objects, such as packaging material items, which the system cannot delete” pops up.

Is there any way to delete the auxiliary material assigned to an HU in the work center or otherwise?
One method is to use the "Empty HU" option, but this isn't feasible since the HU might contain other contents, and also, sometimes such functionality is blocked in putaway control. Is there any other option to delete the content?

Hi Awantee,

Just set the quantity to zero. This should make the line with auxiliary materials disappear.
