    Hi Venakt,

    Quick suggestion : you can use the biclever.com tools to query very fast the metadata of BO, export in Excel and filter whatever you want with it.

    Try something like this:

    Select count(SI_ID) from CI_INFOOBJECTS where SI_CREATION_TIME >= '<start date>' and SI_CREATION_TIME <= '<end date>' and SI_KIND = 'Webi' and SI_INSTANCE = 0

    <start date> and <end date> should be in the format "YYYY.MM.dd.HH.mm.ss".

    With SI_INSTANCE = 0 you'll get the count of report "templates", with SI_INSTANCE = 1 you'll get the instance count. However, for instances, the SI_KIND is based on the output format, so if you're scheduling to Excel, PDF, etc., the SI_KIND will not be Webi.

    • You might try putting the check for "SI_KIND" before the checks for "SI_CREATION_TIME" in the where clause - I know that SI_KIND is indexed, so it might make the query run faster. Other than that, you could try narrowing the time frame. It could just be that you have too many reports for it to count without timing out. If that's the case, then you won't be able to use QueryBuilder to get this information, and the only way I can think of to get it would be to use the SDK and the ability to use a "paged" query to count reports one-by-one.

    You can also consider to user the CMS DB Driver and universe. Using the universe you can use Prompts on dates … without the need to create query builder queries: Unlock the CMS database with new data access driver for BI 4.2
