Promotion Manageent Wizard Time Filter

I'm using the Promotion Management Wizard to migrate content from a 4.1 SP6 system to 4.2 SP7 patch 2. I had planned on doing a final "delta" migration using the time filter the evening that we take the system live, so I've been testing to make sure it does what I expected. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to. It appears that the date filter looks only at the main objects (folders, reports, etc.) and does NOT look for new instances or new/updated schedules. Is there any way to migrate only objects that have new/updated schedules and instances?
