Enable screen fields after the error message

Hi Folks,

i Guess this is a very regular question , but i tried all the options available in sdn and google to enable the fields after the error message but not able to achieve.

I want the logic to be implemented without chain End chain.

Scenario : in Va42 Tcode under contract tab- there is acceptance date and contract end date field, i have to throw an error message if acceptance date is greater than the contract end date , throw an error message

i have written the logic in the include-LV45WFZ in the form (userexit_field_modification)

Logic :

if veda-vabndat > veda-vendat

Message 'acceptance date greater than end date' Type 'S' display like 'E'

I tried different ways but still all the fields are disabling , i want only veda-vabndat field only to disable.

Could you please provide your suggestions on this issue.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks & Regards,

  • It's the include LV45WFZZ (not LV45WFZ).

Its description says: "This userexit can be used to modify the attributes of screen fields."

It's triggered before the display, not after input (PAI), so it can't be used for validating and sending an error message.

Why do you say "I want the logic to be implemented without chain End chain", i.e. why don't you want to do as recommended by SAP ? (adding a "ZZ" PAI module in the dynpro flow logic, and implement it in MV45AIZZ)
