Problem with Analysis for Office 2.7 - not open Query Designer

Launch Query Designer does not start - it is visible but after running to edit variables it does not open - Query designer automatically closed in processes and not start

Are you using the latest patch/SP of 2.7? If not, would you please update to it and try again?

My friend had install BI 7.4 and Launch Query Designer in Analysis for Office 2.7 working (Query Designer open) I have install BI 7.5 SP 6 and Launch Query Designer in Analysis for Office 2.7 not working (Query Designer not open), I think is other reason , if someone could solve the problem ?

Please share which version of BW version your using.

I feel it is mostly issued with your QD installation. Please cross check & install latest QD.

Hi, I am using 2.7.6 and Query Designer opens for me. Could it be to do with the Query Designer version? I am using BI AddOn 7.x (based on 7.30) SP9 Patch20 Revision 763

We have the same problem. As we installed the latest patch AOFFICE27SP06_0-80003503 (for32-bit)with Office 2016 the Query Designer does notstartoutof AO.

Re-Install to older version where the Query Designer does start is not helping!!

Yes, i using latest patch/SP of 2.7 AO 2.7 SP06 and still after use Launch Query Designer does not start (Query designer automatically closed I see it in windows processes)
