Hi SAP Community-

I am trying to update the hit list for CG02 to have the material displayed that is linked to the specification. I have updated D_HITLIST but it is not available in the view. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello

the D_HITLIST (and other similar listings) do have a "big history".

Now we have a clearly better user interface as in the "old times". Since years there was no need to once again invest time in analysing the "D_HITLIST" story.

So this would be my story: SAP has provided an user interface showing some columns (like spec number). In this user interface some columns are reserved (by standard) for some output. One columns is reserved to show the "value found".

In the "old" world (i believe until EHS 2.5) we have had the option to show two rows and by row i believe up to 10 identifiers (to long ago).

Now we have a new user interface which is designed different so the "old story" can not be used 100%; so the first question to check is now. What is the standard delivering now? And we do talk only about the "Default" listing. The user can change layout and save it.

BUT there is a on top chance to enhance the "hit list" look and feel. It is a BADI (if i remember correct). PLease check customizing.

So basicly: you should look for an "ABAPer" to check: how many columns are represented in the standard; then you can check the "BADI";

The last time i drilled down this "D_HITLIST" story is really 10 years ago

PS: you have "similar" challenges in other screens (reference, inheritance etc.). In all places SAP is using a "identification" listing any may of the places does have now a different user interface (in comparison to e.g. EHS 2.5).

There exist some old (not many) discussions. May be check e.g.

https://answers.sap.com/questions/12221936/specification-hitlist.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/12054367/specification-workbench-identfier-layout.html

But we do not have more than 5 threads discussing the "D_HITLIST" topic.

PS: check e.g. https://fmis.minfin.bg/help/EN/43/4d21bfde9657bfe10000000a155369/20_EHS_EN.pdf

You will find this sentence:

Hi Holger-

I did try to change the layout. Yesterday I was able to successfully add it to the hitlist. But now I am not returning a value for it. If you search by material it returns concatenated with the material description separated by a : , but if you search on another criteria it is not available in the layout. As I mentioned I have successfully added it to the hitlist layout but no values are being returned.

Hi Scott,

Can you share point by point how you managed with adding new column to the hitlist?

Hi there,

You have a question and need help by the community? Instead of posting into an old question thread, it is more helpful for you, if you create your own question. Here is how to get started:

  1. Learn about asking and answering questions in SAP Community with this tutorial: https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/community-qa.html
  2. Ask your detailed question here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/ask.html
  3. Wait for a response.

That's it. Thank you!

Best regards

Jennifer
