SAP GUI 7.60 Patch 1 for Windows crashes when touching the Easy Access Picture with the Cursor

Hello SAP World,

last Week we updated our Sandbox System to EHP8 SPS12.

Since April we use SAP GUI 7.60 and now i get a problem.

After logging on to my Sandbox, I can work normaly but if i touch the Easy Access Picture with my Cursor, the whole SAP GUI crashed with Windows Error.

If i don´t touch the Picture with my Cursor or logged on to Mandant 000, where no picture is displayed, then all works fine.

My workaround is to disable the picture in SM30 Table SSM_CUST and parameter "HIDE_START_IMAGE" = YES.

I think its a Problem with the combination of SAP GUI 7.60 and SAP Netweaver 7.50 EHP8 SPS12.

Becaus with SAP GUI 7.50 the Problem does not exist.

Does anyone have the same Problem oder GUI - System combination?

Can you provide the information from the windows event viewer for this issue?

we have recently fixed a similar issue for another customer. The scenario sounds quite like yours.
