Is it possible to go to Original document in Lumira Designer Generic template from bookmark

Hi ,

I see that in Lumira Discovery we have "Back to Original Document" option. I do not see the same in Generic Template - bookmark component. How to go back to Original document when we are using saved bookmark (apart from going back to BI launch pad and selecting the document).

I do not see Undo, reset options in Generic template. Is there a way to enable these options?

Any guidance will be much appreciated. Thank you!

I think you would have to create a global Bookmark of "Original Document" to accomplish going back to original document. I haven't seen the option in Lumira 2.2 SP0 to go back to origibal document. It would be a nice addition though.

Actually I have already provided that work around. I am fairly new, thought I am missing something. Thank you the suggestion.

Hi,Another work around is setting "Maximum Number of Steps" to non-zero. Then you will see "Back to Start" option in Context menu. This works same as "Back to Original Document". I found answer to both of my questions with this "Maximum Number of Steps".

    • Hi,

Back to Start option works well with BW info provider. Unfortunately, with query, it creates problem. It is risky.

Title changes to "My Application", appliation tool bar (Prompt, Favourites and Bookmark etc.,) does not work anymore :(

It seems Global bookmark of default view is the alternate and best option.

      Regards,
