Add Link to package script fails

Hello,

we got SAP IDM 8 SP6 patch level 26 and use Eclipse Oxygen.2 Release 4.7.2, database schema 1762.

The IDM Plug In has version 8.6.41, installed yesterday.

Now I got the issue that it is not longer possible to reference scripts. When I choose "Add link to package script" in the menu of right mouse button in the tab scripts of a task, I get the error message "Retrieving Package failed". This is in every package now the case.

So further developing is hard to go on.

Has anybody the same issue and / or a solution for that?

Thanks in advance

Udo

Hi Udo,

Can you try Relink to package script option.

Jay

Hi,
we had similar issues when the components did not match...
e.g. we just updated the plugin in Eclipse -> errors with package constants, retrieving logs etc.

Hi Udo,

... long time no hear/see ... :-))

running a current implementation I cannot reproduce your problems.

System is on these versions:

File: ICCORE ServicePack: 06 Patchlevel: 31
File: ICRUNTIME ServicePack: 06 Patchlevel: 21
File: IDMCLMRESTAPI ServicePack: 06 Patchlevel: 19
File: IDMIC ServicePack: 06 Patchlevel: 29
File: IDMREST ServicePack: 06 Patchlevel: 14

DB-Version is 1763 (derived from ICCORE PL 31).

Eclipse Plugin is on 8.6.41.

I guess you should either upgrade to the latest PL or recheck all components whether they are SP06 or not as Matt suggested.

Best regards,

Alex

Hi Udo, based on this, can you make sure that all components are now on SP6? This seems the most likely issue.
