Technical error AP_ESI_COMMON 107

I have uploaded some script in Payment Order xbo (Event after modify) and upon editing a specific outgoing check document status, I encounter "Technical error AP_ESI_COMMON 107". I have raised an incident regarding this one and they told me that I am modifying the extension fields that I created and it is not possible because it is in read only. I don't quite get the idea of modifying certain extension fields because those fields are custom fields and I assume that when I create one, it is not set in read only unless I set it up on the screen. But these fields are just storages for the values that I need to pick up and then pass it to the form template. Hoping that you can assist me on what is the problem with the script that I created. I have attached a screenshot of the script. I created it in the PaymentOrder.xbo - After modify script. Appreciate all the help.

Thanks and Regards,

JM Angeles

Once a certain status is reached, ALL changes are forbidden -> all fields become read only. Even extension fields. You need to check for this status and NOT execute your code if this status is reached. There's no way around it.

    As mentioned by Vincent,

If you are unable to change the status of the BO to a status where it is editable, the best way forward is to create a new Mirror Custom BO where you copy all the data and perform your additional operations as required.
