I wonder if is possible to have a material split valuation material in SAP By Design? If It is… How?
Hi Raul,
We can set different valuation cost at business residence level or production specification level.
But cannot summarized the cost at different business residence or production specification.
Thanks,
Eda

Hi Raul,
You can make use of the Product Specification and maintain individual valuation for each Product Specification.
For example:
Material XYZ- PRS1: 60 Units New with price USD 15
Material XYZ- PRS2: 10 Units Refurnish with price USD 7

Sathya

Hi Annapurna,
When I referred to Material Split Valuation, it is a valuation method available in SAP ERP.
Example:
You can have a Material ID for a specific Spare Part. In inventory, you can have:
Material XYZ - 60 Units New with price USD 15
Material XYZ - 10 Units Refurnish with price USD 7
Because it is the same material but with different valuation types (new and refurnish) the system calculate the inventory valuation like this:
Material XYZ Valuation:
Total Stock: 70 Units
Total Value: USD 970 (60 x 15 plus 10 x 7)
Moving price: 13,86 ( USD 970 / 70 Units)
Best regards,
Raúl
