HTML Mash up as a Work center View in SAP C4C

Hi,

We have a requirement to configure a HTML Mash up as a Custom Work center view in SAP C4C.

We referred to the following blogs
https://answers.sap.com/questions/97405/html-mashup-as-a-view-in-c4c.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/160767/c4c-sdk-how-to-add-an-ec-to-a-custom-wcv.html

Creating a Standalone Work Center View is possible but how should we attach the created Work Center View to the Custom standalone Work Center??

Or is it possible to add the created WCV to any standard Work Center?? If yes, how??

Appreciate any response.

Regards,

Madhu

    Hi Madhusudhanun;

It seems possible to assign a custom work center view to a standard work center by using extensibility explorer. Below, there is an example for Customers work center.

    work-center.png

It is also possible to assign a custom work center view to a custom work center.

First you need to add a new view from properties of OberonCenterStructure. And then you can drag and drop your custom work center view from the configuration explorer.

    As an example:capture.png

    work-center.png (84.3 kB)
    capture.png (78.2 kB)

    • Hi Emre,

I am trying the same as your example to assign a custom work center view to a standard work center using extensibility explorer.

I created a new customized work center view say it's "Customer360View"
I want to assign it to the standard work center - COD_Account_WC

I have save and active the customer view. However, I am not able to see the customized work center view appear as in the extensibility explor in C4C front UI.

Any idea, where is wrong or any additional configuration should be done?

Hello, to put a mashup in a Custom WorkCenter you must create the mashup from SDK and assign to it.

    • Hi Martin,

      We did the following:

      1. Configured a mash up in SDK.

      2. Created a standalone Work Center View and added the mash up into this View (as embedded component).

      3. Created a Custom Work Center.

Now, we would like to add the Custom WCV to the Work Center created, so that our Work Center when viewed will only have the HTML Mashup in it.

    Hi Madhu,

you dont need embedded component at all for this requirement, you assign the mashup directly to the Workcenter View (like how you added the mashup to EC screen), it will work.
