Transportation error for infospoke

Dear Friends,

I was trying to transport a simple Infospoke, ( Into Logical file name on the application server as a destination )

Surprisingly it has failed with returncode 12.??

Message no. RSO857

Diagnosis

When handling objects with type DEST, a error message (FGV 001) was not caught. The error message can be found next to this message in the log.

This message was caused by a program error. The error occured in module RS_DEST_AFTER_IMPORT.

System response

The objects of type DEST could not be activated correctly.

Procedure

In the OSS, look for notes with the error message FGV 001 and key words

After Import Handling

RS_DEST_AFTER_IMPORT

DEST

Create an OSS message if you are unable to find a suitable message for the error.

Further it was earlier fiscal variant was restricted to K4. I saw that K4 was not configured in my quality system and so i removed and re transported.. I got the same error message.

we are at Netweaver 04,SAPKW35015.

It would be a great help if you can share your thoughts..

general suggestion: ( R3TR objects )infospokes / infopackages / process chains can be created in the Prod directly.

1) what is the BW support pack ?

2) you can collect again in a new request and do a re-transport

3) try the transport with overwrite option

4) for the message RSO857, it is a support pack issue.

But it was not changable in my quality system.

I made the setting 'Object Changability' for infospoke destination in my development system before transport.

But transport failed and destination is not editable.

I changed setting 'Object Changability' again in Quality system.. and tried to enter into infospoke and has no use.

2) I tried 3 times.. no use..

4) I do not find any note with message type RSO857.. can this be really support pack issue?

could this the problem ?

have you done transfer global setting in QA ?

rsa1->source system r/3->right click 'transfer global setting' and in next screen mark checkbox for fiscal variant and update option update table something (not simulate).

to overwrite, click the 3rd tab when transport in stms, there is option overwrite original and unconfirm repair something.

I just figured out and reached this solution. I am going to run this today and I am going to try this tomorrow.

Hmm, I could get away with the error of K4 by transferign the global settings. and activated manually..

BUT..

the transport is still giving the same mesage as I described earlier..

1) I tried all together and retransporting in a fresh request.. No use.. it gave me the same error of K4 and other stuff.

2) I tried the new transport with 'overwrite' option..

no luck.. same error mesage?

But I have activated in the target system my change eabling.. but still did not understand why the transports are going wrong?

dear Hari,

in the infospoke, any file folder specified that may not exist in target system ? or something not exist in target ?

and not sure if 'source system mapping' rsa1->tools->source system mapping (tcode rslgmp).

Dear AHP,

Sorry for my late reply. had to leave to a meeting. Ok..

Here is how it had worked.

1) Did the Global Transfer to set K4 error.

2) Enabled the change settings for infospokes in rsa1->object changability.

3) The syntax error in quality has disapeared.

4) I activated the infospoke and it got activated fine.

So I thougt let me have a Green transport so that I can use for production later. So creted a new one and tried to push to Quality with overwrite and witout overwrite options..

Surprisingly the same error appeared.. including the K4 stuff.

I do not suspect on any filepaths and conersions as I can activate the infospoke in qaulity system with out any changes..

any pointers??

let's create oss message

searching with RSO857 found oss 605145, seems not relevant, but not sure if sapi support package problem.

Yup.. actually I wanted to make a big announcement in frount page of SDN.. but scared that these ppl may ban me..

saw that note which looked not sutable..

I have never created a OSS mesage so i have the follwoing questions..

1) Currently Basis guy is not around.. and will not be availbel till next week. Can I create the message with my personal oss id?

2) I can not create a user id and passwd for them as my basis guy is not around.. so will that be ok?

3) Finally creating note will be under 'Create customer messages' area?

I think I can not create untill OSS message for this issue untill basis guy give me the system oss id??

dear Hari,

1. yes, you can create message with your personal oss id, as well as it's assigned with your company, when you create message, you have to choose installation no etc which related to your company's installed sap system.

2. yes, most time oss will ask for remote connection, this will need basis guy.

3. yes, create customer message.
