Unable to Asset Fiscal Year 2018

Hello Everyone.

I am trying to close fiscal year of 2018 and open 2019

in OAAQ I can see last fiscal year closed in 2015.

When I execute AJAB for 2016 it shows below

CoCd Close carried out 0020 No

List Contains no data.

Unless I close 2016, 2017 I can close close 2018.

How do I solve this issue.

I am trying to do in QA testing client and I can not move transport to rectify this.

I tried opening 2019 directly and it says I have to close Asset FY 2017 first.

But I cant close even 2016

Please suggest how to go about this.

Hi,

You can keep only two consecutive years open in AA. What is the problem with closing 2016? From your description, it seems that you simply run it in test mode, and the log shows no errors. Of course, no closure is performed either. Did you run AJAB in production mode, in backbground? If yes, share the output from the spool of this run.

Hi Eli,

Yeah I was doing it wrong in test mode. SO once I removed test mode I was able to close 2016.

Thanks a lot for the response.

For 2017 there were some asset accounting data posted after the depreciation run was done hence I was not able to close 2017.

So I had to rerun the repeat depreciation for that.

Few other people reached out to me and helped me aswell.

Problem is solved.

Make sure you completed the 2016 year depreciation run.
