Email trigger in ChaRM based on custom fields

Dear Experts,

We are currently on SP07 in Solman 7.2 and have created few custom fields in Change documents. Now we have a requirement to trigger emails based on the values of these custom fields.

How can we include these custom fields into scheduled and start conditions in ChaRM? Any help in this regard is appreciated.

What kind of custom fields are we talking about here? Ones created via AET? or New Category levels?
