Hi,
I am writing because I am in the need to re-open a closed manual control.
In our case, manual controls in GRC-PC are:
1- Created by the administrator in the Planner.
2- Tested by the auditors in the Work Inbox. (Draft)
3- Approved by the Auditor Manager.(Review)
Status for a manual controls are: Draft, Review & Closed
There is one case that was with incorrect information, when tested, and the reviewer wasn´t able to correct it, closing the control.
My question is: Is there any program, or way to re-open a closed control, so that the tester may do it again?
Closed --> Review --> Testing.
This has happened many times for many users, and my "work-around" is to delete the control in the "grpc_as_reorg" transaction, and plan it again in the "planner". The problem with this, is that it change the "created on" date, also it uses another Workitem ID. I would like to be able to continue using the first created case, and not modify creation dates.
Any kind of information will be helpful.
Regards,
Rodrigo
Hello Rodrigo,
Yes you are correct there is no way to open a closed control.
You need to create a new plan in that case.

Thanks Silky. My questions was if there was any other option, besides that.
