Valuated Goods In Transit (LOG_MM_SIT)

Hi Experts,

Can you please help me understand implementing Valuated Stock in Transit.

Can we use existing STO doc type and implement these changes for Valuated Stock in Transit? If any one has implemented this it will be really helpful if you can provide some documentation on how to implement this.

Or Do we need to create a completely new Document type and follow on creating new delivery type and make the necessary changes?

I have gone through below links related to LOG_MM_SIT and none of the document says about implementing this for existing document types.

Your help is greatly appreciated and if you can also help in providing some documentation that will really help.
