QM integration with REM

Hi Experts ,

I am new to REM process I need your advice to implement my clients requirements.

Currently they don't have QM active for REM process. So their requirement now is to set up QM and to do the inspection for each operation and have it in system . Also once the assembly is complete they have to do the inspection. If it is the case of Discrete/Process industry we can go with early lot inspection and in-process inspection. But in case of REM I don't know which will trigger the inspection activity and how to tackle the in-process inspection.

Also need to what will be the impact QM inspection lots of backflush concept in place.

Please provide your valuable thoughts on this .

    Repetitive manufacturing environments are characterized by the high-volume, long-term production of goods. These goods or materials are produced on the basis of production versions that describe how the product must be manufactured.

    The QM component supports inspections for repetitive manufacturing by allowing you to create inspection lots for production versions. Since the repetitive manufacturing process can run over an extended period of time, you can create several inspection lots for a production version. However, you can only process one inspection lot at a time.

    You can create an inspection lot for a production version if the following conditions have been met:

    1. A production version exists for the material to be inspected.
    2. QM is active for the material to be inspected. This means that in the inspection settings of the material master:
    3. An inspection type is active for inspection lot origin 13 (repetitive manufacturing)
    4. An inspection type is active for inspection lot origin 04 (Goods receipt inspection)
    5. The other indicators for the inspection type are set appropriately to meet your requirements for inspection processing (Basic data: Inspection Method, Catalogs, Master Inspection Characteristics, Sampling Procedure, Dynamic Modification Rule, Sampling Scheme, Sample Drawing Procedure)
    6. If you intend to record inspection results:
    7. Inspection characteristics have been created or referenced in one or more operations of a rate routing
    8. The rate routing is specified in the production version
    9. A usage decision has been made for a previously existing inspection lot for the production version or the previously existing inspection lot was canceled.

      Thanks for the details suppose if I want to capture in-process inspection details how do I do it as in case of other Manufacturing process we will be using 03 and after each operation completion we can Have the chance to enter in SAP (03 LOT) .
