Manual Accruals in Settlement Management

Hi All,

We are implementing Settlement management essentially to replace existing rebate agreements.

The users as a process use Manual Accruals available in Rebate Agreements to do accrual posting to the G/L account. These are then used to do Partial and Final Settlement for the rebates.

However in Settlement management there is no such functionality. How can we do the Manual Accruals in a settlement management scenario.

How do we add the AMOUNT MANUALLY to a delta accrual run.

The transaction WB2R_SC selects the Business volume criteria in the settlement run and then adds the accrual for the documents which may have been created before the condition contract creation. This based on my understanding of the process, unless you have a different opinion/application for this settlement process.

How do I manually add the Rebate basis or accrual amount in the delta accrual run?

Hi Kumar,

I did create the document type for manual accrual. I also assigned it to the settlement types for condition contracts. It works fine, but the issue is we can assign document type for 1 process, either accrual or for Manual settlement, i.e. giving credit. I am looking at an option wherein I can do both Manual accrual for A CONDITION CONTRACT and ALSO create Manual settlement document for providing credit. Right now we can have only one. I need both the process to work together for condition contract.

Hi Sandeep,

So for a contract type you want to capture the settlement and accruals manually. In that case can you pl try to add a delta accrual for the amount which you want to accrual and run the delta accruals. But you need to maintain a condition type for the accrual amount in contract and also the condition type needs to be in pricing.

Hello,

There is an option in condition contracts to perform a manual settlement process. You need to create the documents for manual process and assign it to your condition contract settlement types.
