Assignment: Organiz. Units - Cost Component Struct OKTZ

oktz.pngHello dear SAP gurus,

After Material Ledger startup I found that cost components where wrong for a plant. I checked and found that in OKTZ / Assignment: Organiz. Units - Cost Component Struct, I did not include the company code of the new company. I included the company code (highlighted line inthe image) after that but the cost components were not updated.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi David,

Check whether there is Cost Component Structure (CCS) for the ML in table CKMLKEV. If this is not in Production system i am sure by resetting the ML activation and then re-activate again will resolve your issue. FYI also, once you activate the ML you can't simply change the CCS. Check this note 1869753 - OKTZ "Controlled" changes in CCStructure.

Thanks for your help. I would appreciate if you help with one more question if you could help me. The system still has the Z1 CCS, but it should have Z5 for plant 9015. The plant is active in ML since march, I can't I just deactivate ML and activate it again with a productive plant. Did you mean deactivate CCS and activate it again?

I could solve the problem by following the procedure on the note 1869753 by using the programs MLCCS_RESET and MLCCS_STARTUP. The downside of this solution is the loss of historic costs by cost component.
