Analysis for MS Office Ver 2.7.300
I've built a workbook with 5 Data Sources in it, I have been refreshing as I was building it without an issue. I saved the workbook on my desktop (MS Office 365) as an *.xlsx file.
This morning when I open the workbook, the Refresh All option on my Analysis ribbon is greyed out. I dont get any error messages when opening the workbook.
Analysis is working fine, I can insert a new data source into the workbook, save it, reopen it and that data source will refresh but the connectivity from all the other data sources is gone.
Hi Gill,
When you look in the Components tab, do the Crosstabs still exist? If not then I'm afraid your Workbook is useless.
This happens from time to time (even with latest version) and is extremely frustrating for the users and I have raised it several times with SAP with no real explanation. It's almost impossible to reproduce but they have suggested network connectivity issues or clashes with other Add-Ins as possible causes.
If you are lucky enough to have a backup of the file I suggest you go back to a previous version and try that...
Regards,
Stephen

Many thanks Tammy for the quick response, I'll ask the Basis guys to install for me and I will test then.

Hi Gill - looks like there are some fixes for refresh in SP5 - any chance you could update and try again?
