/SAPAPO/RTSOUTPUT_FCST - Notification of Failure in Process Chain

I use the program in the subject in a process chain. I added a message to notify me of reds. All I note is a message that says : With End: blah blah blah. What I need is With Errors: Blah blah blah. I get notifications even for successfully run programs. I can't seem to get the right message here.

How do I fix this ? i expect the variant of this message to send me a red warning of the release from DP to SNP has ended in errors because of NO CVCs released to SNP because of whatever reason. The spool may contain several CVCs missing but I do not need any notification of the same. The notifications is only needed if NO demand plan has been released to SNP.

Hello,

You should have alert mail on failure, that step /SAPAPO/RTSOUTPUT_FCST failed.

And after that log on to system and check the failed step error ans spool for error details.

Anyway without login on system you can not solve such issue only by email notification details 😉

I already have one. I get notified too but the thing is there is NO fail condition when one or more CVCs are missing. I want a message ONLY when NO CVCs are released to SNP.

How do I accomplish this?

The only message options within process chain step is WITH END: XXXX

Which means this step will always notify the user. I want the notification ONLY when it is RED. Which means SM37 job status (batch monitor) is RED. Red here would mean that NO CVC's were released to SNP .. for whatever reasons.

I checked those articles the other day but it does not say how to set up such a message condition.

Perhaps this needs development ?

Hello,

Yes this would be a development to get such details as mail notification.

You check the selection box "Results log". You are then able to display the log in transaction SLG1 too. for object APO_FCS, subobject RELEASE or RELEASE_CUBE_TO_SNP.

Also review SAP note 1994334 - Forecast Release in background with ERR_READ, ERR_WRITE, OTHERS
