In some materials, when it is released it is automatically creating a 331 movement and removing 1KG from the amount that is being received All materials are set up the same, and this should not be happening but it is to only 3 of the materials out of 50 I have set up. All materials go in to quality (01 inspection type) all use the same sampling procedure. What triggers this to automatically happen so I can correct this issue? I do have the SPC QM set up.
Hello Jessica
331 is the movement type that moves a material to sampling stock. Possibly, you have set the indicator "destructive sample" for an inspection characteristic in the inspection lots where this 331 movement of 1KG is posted.

Hello Caetano,
Thank you for your response, I checked the MIC and there is no information there or in the sampling procedure that designates it as a destructive sample. All inspection plans are created the same, any other ideas? I have the sampling type in the sampling procedure set as a fixed sample.
Regards,
Jessica
When I look at the inspection lot details and compare it to an inspection lot that is not automatically creating a 331 movement the only difference I see is that the sample size quantity that is removing 1kg has a sample size of 1kg. The lot that is not automatically creating a 331 movement has a sample size of the full inspection lot. Just something I noticed also.
