Create plan data utilising live data connection in SAC

As planning in SAC using the live data connection is currently unavailable, what is the recommended practise for utilising actual data from the live connection as a base for creating plan data? I have a live connection setup from S/4 HANA Cloud 1902 to SAC.

To date I have had to create a planning model directly in SAC and import the actuals into SAC from an excel sheet (downloaded from S/4). Is there any other way of achieving this without the manual creation of master data in SAC and data upload via spreadsheet?

may S/4 HANA Import data connection be useful to get actuals from S/4 instead downloading data to excel ! It may require configuration as described in https://help.sap.com/doc/00f68c2e08b941f081002fd3691d86a7/release/en-US/63140f17362947fe8bcd9c6960db...

Hi,

You could also enabled the S/4 CDS View as an 'Analytics enabled query' - this would create a transient infoprovider and SAC could consume it using it's BW Import connection.
