[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Hi,

could anybody give me a step by step explanation how can I solve mentioned problem?

When I'm trying to run qery on default 4.2 universe ( monitoring TrendData Universe)datatrend.jpg . I get the following error error2.jpg

I have found an article in here, but I don't know how to do this.

Hi Lukasz,

As per the article, User DSN is used instead of System DSN which means only the User who created that DSN connection can use it. Follow below steps to resolve this.

1. Create System DSN specifying the same ODBC connection.

select driver as per your system

2.Change the connection in designer for the Universe to use new ODBC connection (system DSN)

3. save and export Universe

Hi I guess that I do not have enough experience to do this. Simply can't configure it in an approprate way? Could you help me bit?
