Hi all,
when I call the ITS webgui service on a S/4HANA system (on premise, 1709 and 1809) I get a correct response, just as I was used to in R/3 systems. But when I make an input (e.g. click menu to show system status) the browser hangs. It doesn't matter what input - every input hangs. I've seen it on two different S/4 HANA HDB systems so far (which are 1709 and 1809).
Ping works fine, ITS mobile works fine, but webgui doesn't. No short dumps, nothing interesting to see in high level trace file (at least for me) or sys log .
All ITS services are published and all SICF services are activated.
I also saw a S/4HANA system (1809) today, where the webgui service works fine. - kind of weird.
Any hints would be welcome,
thanks in advance,
ralph
Hi Ralph,
I assume you are using kernel 7.73, patch level 28. This is quite "old". A lot of corrections appeared after patch 28.
Please upgrade the kernel, using patch level 123 or higher.
It should work then.
Kind regards,
Cris

Hello Ralph,
Have you tried to check the browser console for possible HTTP errors?
If there is any 500 internal server error, then you can use KBA 2755871 to find more information.
If you can share the SAP_BASIS version and SP level and kernel version and patch level, then I can have more insights.
Kind regards,
Cris
