ESS 60.2 - How do disable service ?

Hi,

How can I disable a country specific service. For e.g. we have a requirement that "ESS -> Personal Information -> Bank Information" be only available for USA and not Canada.

Do I go to transaction "spro" -> "SAP Reference IMG" -> "Cross-Application Components -> Homepage Framework -> Services - > Define Country-Specific Services -> Define Country-Specific Services (Add Entries) and delete the line "EMPLOYEE_PERSINFO_BANK, 07, EMPLOYEE_BANK_CA_SERVICE"

Will this work? Is there any other way as I don't really want to try deleting the default entries provided by SAP?

This will do the job.

From IMG documentation for same node:

Example 2

Your company has employees in two different countries:

Germany (01)

Switzerland (03)

(Number in brackets = country grouping)

There is a service that is only relevant for employees from Switzerland.

You define a general service without a resource object in the V_T7XSSSERSRV and V_T7XSSSERSRVC views.

You define a country-specific service with a resource object for country grouping 03 in the V_T7XSSSERSRVCG and V_T7XSSSERSRVCGC views

This service is only displayed for employees in Switzerland.

Here there is already entry for Canada and US, you have remove entry for Canada. For Canada employee this service will not be displayed.
