I'm loading Classes (VC / Equipment) and attributes from ECC to BI. Because we have a lot classes and attributes I wrote a Class to automate all the steps (create infoobjects, create datasource, extract structure, Change generic extractor and add Extract Structure, Transfer Rule, DTP, etc. for all attributes / text etc.) So fare everything worked fine.
My DTP's were created by the function RSDF_GENERATE_DTPA - until now with Extraction Mode Full and Extraction Method = "Direct from Source System", because the Parameter I_FROM_IPAK was initial.
But I recognized now that the DTP is now generated with Extraction Mode = Full but with Extraction Method = "From PSA".
So I'm confused because I don't know what's changed. I need the setting Extraction Method = "Direct from Source System", because I don't want to load hundreds Text Infopackages, for this I've wrote an Method to execute all related Class - Attributes - DTP's serial - but for this I need the "Direct from Source System".
Does anybody knows how
- to create the DTP and give this setting Extraction Method = "Direct from Source System"
- to change a DTP Extraction Method
To change the DTP Extraction Method Setting would be also interesting for mass changes of Text / Attributes not to load anymore via PSA for other InfoObjects.
