Upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 5.0

Hi Guys,

Are there any issues from upgradation of 4.6c to ECC 5.0,

In areas of SD,SM,VC...

Please let me know if there are any changes in table structures or you have come across any, there are a lot of customised transactions involved in this upgrade.

There are a couple of issues like Variants table TVARV is replaced using TVARVC, Problem in posting GR using VL32n, and also with VL31n.

Layouts are changed for some reports,

Some of the function modules like WS_DOWNLOAD, WS_UPLOAD are obselete and you have to replace with GUI_UPLOAD and GUI_DOWNLOAD.

Problem with MIGO transaction as some of the FMs used in the previous version are obsolete which are used for posting GR from subcontractor.

Hi Ajay,

The main difference that would cause much trouble is unicode.This cause most of the programs go for short dump.

In SD I have seen the TTXERN table is uses in ECC 5.0 instead of TTXER which is being used in previous versions.

You got to do the text customization again in the 5.0 and transport it then.

I will post the issues whaetever I come across.
