Hi,
I was extracting data from ecc in BW using infopackage suddenly it stopped fetching records and status in monitor request stuck yellow signal.
In rsa3 tcode i can see the records in ecc.
I have two clients of ecc, BW is fetching records from one client but not from other client
Rfcs connection is ok in sm59.

If you drill down further (manage PSA icon) it should give you what the error message is, and search on that

Hi Ali,

By this time, I believe you have come across the solution to the problem which had caused the above issue. But normally, if you come across such a situation where the InfoPackage is stuck in yellow for a period of time greater than the expected time and also pulling in 0 records, as can be seen in your screenshot, you should follow the steps below -

(i) Check the RFC Connection (as you have done correctly)

(ii) Check the LUWs in the T-code SM58 in the source system side, which can show you the Logical Units of Work flowing in from the source system side to BW. They might be stuck in the source system side, which we can either execute manually or with the help of the SAP BASIS Team. More often than not, this is the issue which cause a scenario like the one you have pointed out above. Would ask you to check this once, as it has helped me more than once.

Do let me know if you have any doubts or face any issues regarding this.

Many thanks,

Sayan

Hi,

Extraction job is not yet finished in the ECC. Just check the job in ECC, wait until its get finished.

If you don't find the job in ECC, it means BW system is not able to trigger the extraction job in ECC. In that case further checks needs to be done.

Regards,

Satya.
