Hi,

I am not able to find the SAP3 to SAP7 and SAPIBP1 planning area in the SAP IBP-Starter Edition(1902). how to get it? do we need to implement any OSS note for this? I appreciate your input on this. Thank you.

Hi AV,

Are you looking at the app called "Sample Model Entities" in the WEB UI? It is there where all sample models are stored. Just in case you are looking for the sample PAs in the standard PAs app..

Best,

Ivan

Hi AV,

The idea behind is that you create a copy of the Sample PAs you have interest in use from the Sample Model Entities app, that is exclusive for them. Once you copy the Sample PA of your interest, then it will show in the Planning Area tile for your customization.

Best,

Ivan

Hi,

I would suggest to open incident with component SCM-IBP.

IBP starter edition offers all five applications of SAP IBP (demand, inventory, response and supply, sales and operations, supply chain control tower) are included in starter edition.

However, it is not possible to use or copy the order-based data model (Planning Area SAP7) or the SDI-based integration models, part of the response and supply module, with starter edition. It is possible to use the time-series-based data model functionality of the response and supply module with starter edition. In the future, we plan to offer a version of SAP IBP Starter Edition that will support the order-based data model, at an additional cost (timing to be determined).

You can also receive support from the SAP Support Portal using SAP standard incident reporting (https://support.sap.com). The main component is SCM-IBP.

Please refer to below forum for more details.
