ABAP processes of instance XED/D00 [ABAP: ACTIVE] did not start after 10:10 minutes. Giving up

Hi ,

While installing SAP NW7.5 on Oracle, i am facing below error.

"Last error reported by the step: ABAP processes of instance XED/D00 [ABAP: ACTIVE] did not start after 10:10 minutes. Giving up"

when i am executing SAPCONTROL -nr 00 -function GetProcessList -> all are in green expect IGS(GRAY).

Could anyone help me how start IGS or troubleshoot above error.

I had performed restart of SAP server , but no use.

Hello Venkatesh,

Kindly download and install the most recent IGS patch level, for the Operating System where the SAP system was installed.

Also you can check below SAP Note to investigate further.

Thank you Padia, can in you tell me should restart the installation or should go and uncar files in exe folder

Hello Venkatesh,

No need to restart the installation. You can just need to download latest IGS patch from Service market place and uncar in kernel directory

NOTE: Make sure you delete old IGS file before you perform UNCAR. Don't UNCAR on top of existing IGS files.
