BPC 11.0 Embedded - Commentary Document Store

Hello,

Wondering if anyone can help me out on commentary planning.

I have created Cube like ADSO – added to composite provider – Agg level – Plan query.

Then created a Document store added ADSO.

Under Plan query I have selected Yes for Document store but drop down for under default document store is disabled – PFA screen shot “DS query Prop.jpg” .

In RSRT2 I see a warning but context menu is not bringing commentary options (PFA RSRT2 screenshot).

I have also tried in analysis excel 2.7 to assign document store dynamically but document store selection is disabled.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

Hi all

We are facing the same issue but is not yet resolved.
How can I link the document store to a query on an Aggragation level?

Hi,

using a CompositeProvider as a basis of queries one should use the CompositeProvider in document store not the part providers contained in the CompositeProviders. Observe that there might exist a mapping of characteristic A in a part provider to another characteristic B in the CompositeProvider. Document stores don't consider these mappings, thus the CompositeProvider should be used in the document store.

Planning: Aggregation levels are transparent here.

Gregor

Hi Sai,

I don't understand what you mean with

... Then created a Document store added ADSO.

A document store is a BW object that creates a ADSO where documents are stored. But you don't have to add this generated ADSO to the CompositeProvide (if this is what you have tried). You have to add the technical name of the document store (not the generated ADSO) to the query (BW Modeling Tools in the Runtime Properties section). The generated ADSO is just technical stuff, you can ignore this.
