Delete INIT-Request in Infopackage

Hi all,

i have loaded several INITS i an ODS with different selections:

1. 01.01.1999 - 31.12.1999

2. 01.01.2000 - 31.12.2000

3. 01.01.2001 - 31.12.2001

The last one i want to delete because its to big iand i have to split this in two smaller inits. e.x.:

01.01.2001 - 30.06.2001

01.07.2001 - 31.12.2001

How could this be done???

Hi Frank,

You can select the init requests to delete from the InfoPackage menu > Scheduler > Init options for Source System.

i know, but this will delete all inits, that run before right?

Really?!

This is true for delta, but I-m not so sure that is true also for init...

anyway, if you have some doubt, better to do some test on your development environment before doing something in prd !

If you have 4 different Init requests with different selections, and you delete one of those, then I think that the delta for that selection will not come through. If you delete one Init request, it would delete all...I don't think so, but as Roberto says, it is better to test.

FYI:

Even if i delete one init-req (the last one), all inits will be deleted.

But i found an other solution:

Delete all inits from scheduler. Make all Inits again, but without data loading and then make a delta load ->

Only delta record will be loaded.
