To not consider Requirement from PS

Hi All,

Requirement is that system should not consider requirements from PS(network order) in MRP.

We have same material, same plant,S Loc and client needs that Re order planning should work on inventory. Now when requirement from PS comes, system creates PR in daily MRP runs.

Is there any standard way to control this? if not then please suggest any BADI.

Thanks.

    Hello

If you are using individual stock for your material, then requirements under the project stock will be planned separately and MRP will not consider your stock and it will create a new requisition to cover those requirements.

My suggestion for you is to change the value of field Individual/Collective in the material master, in order to ensure that only collective requirements will be used. With this setting, MRP will consider the existing stock to cover PS requirements.

    Regards,
    Caetano

    Hello Caetano,

    Thanks a lot.

Can you please explain this a bit more, I have always been confused with this field. I am trying to understand F1 help also.

If you can share one or two examples then it would really help.

    Hi Caetano,

Are you suggesting to use collective req in the field or individual?

My requirement is to have NO PR generated for project requirements .MRP to generate PR for re order planning on inventory but not for PS.
