  • Hello,

    Could you test the following:

Click right on the .cns HANA connection in IDT and choose here to create new Multi source enabled Data Foundation or please hover the mouse on the greyed connection. Is the tooltip shows you something like "This data source is not supported in multisource-enabled data foundations"? Could you also share your SAP BI Version?

    Thanks,

    Mate

  • @Denis Konovalov i'm trying to use one of sap bi platform tools! (SAP BusinessObjects BI platform 4 Client Tools) IDT and that's why i selected BI platform support tool ! may be they know the restrictions of the BI tools !

  • Hello,

Could you please check my question, stated above? I want to verify this issue is related to an existing one.

    Thanks,

    Mate

I just happened to be looking this up for something else when I saw your question.

According to the Semantic Layer PAM, HANA is not supported for MSU for Windows 32 bit, but it is supported for Windows 64 bit. I haven't tested it myself, but I would assume this means it would work if you first set IDT to use server-based middleware.
