Firmed Planned Orders

Hi All,

I have a scenario in production where Firmed planned orders are present in APO and ECC and when I check the orders in PLAF table it's showing APO created. So I tried checking the below in lower environment,

I created a Planned order in APO with Fix Indicator checkbox tick in SNP Supply profile of Product Master. The order is sent to ECC and the I could see the order is firmed.

Initially the order category is SNP Planned Order in APO. When the order reaches ECC the number series gets changed and the same order number gets updated in APO by replacing the old order number.

But still the Order category is SNP Planned order.

Kindly clarify if the order will be of category SNP Planned order or Planned order(F). The other case when we manually create a firmed planned order in ECC and send it to APO the order category is Planned (F) as expected.

Hello,

If order is created in SNP application (SDP94/ Heuristic) then it will be SNP planned order with SNP source of supply.

If order is created in PPDS application (RRP3/ Heuristic) then it will be PPDS planned order with PPDS source of supply.

Manually created planned or production order in ECC will be always in PPDS application.
