I am currently implementing the use of RFQ's based on PR for materials without contract.
We work with alot of "dummy" materials based on material groups. (it is a policy not to create material numbers for all materials, nothing I can do about that) Now I am setting up the procedure to create an RFQ based on a PR.
My question. When an RFQ is filled in with price etc. Is it possible to have the PR do assign source automatically (maybe when MRP is being run) So the PR is ready for processing the day after.
I am aware that using an IR would solve this part but in this situation with all these dummies it is not possible.
