Depreciated data source

Hi,

I was wondering the following:

My combined data source exists out of the Tickets (SAP data source) and All Activities with predecessor ticket (Joined data source). However, some fields in the Ticket data source, such as the characteristic Account, are derived from the Master Data - Data source Account Master data. The latter will be deprecated (see attachment). Since, I cannot change the Ticket data source (SAP), I was wondering if all fields are automatically updated when SAP replaces the deprecated data source into the new one. So, in other words I don't have to change this data source since it is based on a SAP data source?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Joelle.

Usually when Data source becomes deprecated they created another data source with similar functionality. Some data source are changed entirely so I don't think it will be "automatically substituted". Most probably, you will have to substitute the deprecated Data source for the new version in this join.

Best regards.

Mirelle.
