OData Web service call usage

Hi,

I was hoping to clarify on the potential of using web service calls to update service tickets within SAP Cloud for customer.

We have OData web service entities set up in our system. We use these mainly for the relationship to our Hana Cloud Platform setup. However, we also currently use these for other means, such as:
1) Retrieving information and data from the main site
2) Updating service request/ticket field values

When updating information against existing C4C tickets using web calls, we wish to try expand on the updates we currently do, which is currently limited to updating ticket statuses, and ticket team/org unit assignment.
We are looking for advice as to whether the current OData web service functionality would allow us to perform updates such as:
1) Updating text fields/sections within C4C tickets
2) Updating interactions – either by adding a note, or sending an email through web service calls

If not currently possible, is anyone aware whether it will be achievable once the new version SAP Cloud for Customer OData API V2 series (c4codataapi) is adopted?

We use this heavily for robotic process automation in our system and we are to limit robotic processing within live tickets, using web service call/backend updates wherever possible. I would be interested to see if others have been able to update text fields or add interactions via OData updates?
